Incoming freshmen entering UCF will receive an email from mathplacement@ucf.edu about seven (7) business days after they have paid their UCF enrollment deposit with their username (NID) and MyLabsPlus password needed to access the MPT. All incoming freshmen must complete the MPT, including those who have already received accelerated credit (AP/IB/dual enrollment). Students are strongly recommended to complete the MPT prior to attending Orientation.
If the MPT is not completed prior to Orientation delays in registration for mathematics courses may result. The MPT should be taken from the convenience of a computer with a secure and strong internet connection.
If your test is past due please log in to, accept the Privacy Policy, and submit a in order to have your due date extended. We ask that students only submit the Contact Form 1 time in order to avoid any delay in our response time. At this time, you still have access to the practice tests and optional Study Plan. Students are required to complete the practice algebra test and earn 35% or higher before proceeding to the actual algebra test. As a reminder, if you are currently attending classes at UCF, or if you are a transfer student, the actual MPT must be taken in a proctored setting at the University Testing Center.
